Dépôt de sang : apport d’un système informatique dans la sécurité immuno-hématologique

RésuméLa réglementation impose aux dépôts de sang de délivrance et aux dépôts relais de se doter de système informatisé. Ce système facilite et sécurise les activités d’un dépôt de sang en matière de gestion, délivrance ou de transfert de produits sanguins labiles (PSL). Il est organisé pour créer une fiche transfusionnelle du patient constitué de son statut immuno-hématologique et d’un récapitulatif chronologique des épisodes transfusionnels ; les résultats des examens du patient et les caractéristiques des produits sanguins sont transmis grâce à des échanges de données informatiques. Extrêmement pratique pour accéder aux antécédents immunologiques d’un patient et grâce à ses fonctionnalités, il se révèle être un garant de la sécurité transfusionnelle.

Due to regulations, hospital blood banks have to equip them with a computer-based information system. This system facilitates the management of the blood bank and ensures the safety of the storage, issuing and traceability of the blood and blood components. It permits to create a medical file for each transfused patient, which contains the characteristics of the blood components transfused and the immunohematological status of the patient, received by electronic data interchange from the blood establishment. Thus, from the assistance to the prescription of blood transfusion to the issuing and traceability of the blood components, the computer-based information system is the guarantee of the transfusion security in a hospital blood bank.
