Growth, structural and optical characterization of a new nonlinear optical crystal - hippuric acid doped potassium di hydrogen phosphate

- Hippuric acid doped KDP crystal was grown by solution growth technique for the first time.
- The crystal is iso-structural with KDP with a slight variation in crystallographic parameters.
- The functional groups were assigned using FTIR analysis.
- The crystal possesses 1.2 times SHG efficiency compared with pure KDP.
