Efficient interrupting skills of amino acid metallointercalators with DNA at physiological pH: Evaluation of biological assays

Novel amino acid based metal chelates have been synthesized and screened for biological aspects at physiological pH. These metallointercalators are valuable in designing novel agents for targeting nucleic acids as well as setting the stage for the synthesis of metal nuclease drugs.
