Process simulation of a SOFC and double bubbling fluidized bed gasifier power plant

► A new power plant for the valorization of small size waste wet biomass is presented. ► A kinetic and fluidodynamic model of the gasifier is presented and validated. ► A simple SOFC model is presented and validated. ► The system converts waste biomass to electricity at a First Law efficiency of 48%. ► The electrical efficiency decreases from 48% to 34%when moisture content increases.
