Part 2: In vitro cytotoxicity studies of two ML2 complexes (MÂ =Â Pd, Pt; LÂ =Â 2-cyano-2-isonitroso-N-morpholylacetamide, HMCO

► In vitro cytotoxicity was studied for two M(MCO)2 (M = Pd, Pt) complexes. ► Two different morphology human cancer cell lines (HeLa) and (WiDr) were used. ► The Trypan Blue exclusion method was applied for the complexes' activity assessment. ► Results indicated a pronounced comparable to cisplatin cytotoxicity of both complexes. ► Studies of compounds' binding to a variety of the DNA samples were carried out.
