Gas-phase molecular structures of substituted 1,3-bisketenes: A challenge for theory and experiment

Theoretical and experimental studies of the structures of a series of substituted 1,3-bisketenes have revealed complex conformational composition of the molecules in the gas phase which challenges previous assumptions about causes of stability of these molecules.
