Formation and crystal structure of bis-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino)diselane

A diaminodiselane and hexamethyldistannane were obtained by the reaction of the lithiumamidoselenolate Li Se-N(C9H18) and trimethyltin chloride and the structure of the diselenane was determined.
