Copper(I) thiosaccharinate in combination with triphenylphosphane and bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm) produces a rich coordination chemistry. New uncommon mono-, di-, and tetra-nuclear complexes have been prepared and structurally characterized. Three different coordination forms of the thiosaccharinate anion are present in the new substances. The thioamidate acts as a two, four or six-electron donating ligand through its exocyclic S and endocyclic N atoms.
