Mo(W)/Cu/S coordination polymers based on tetranuclear cubane-like cluster nodes and 1,4-bis(3,5-dimethypyrazol-1-yl)butane flexible ligand

Three new Cu(I) heterothiometallic coordination polymers with tetranuclear cubane-like cluster nodes and bbd linker ligand were synthesized in a facile one-pot reaction. A key factor in obtaining these compounds was to use two mole equivalents of bbd instead of one which has been used in the preparation of the double cluster dimmers.87
