Synthesis and characterization of cationic cyclopalladated complexes derived from p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene bisphosphite with nitrogen donors

► A series of new cationic cyclopalladated complexes of p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene reported. ► Various nitrogen donor ligands were used in presence of silver triflate. ► X-ray crystal structures revel distorted cone conformation of calix[4]arene framework. ► Cationic complexes could be efficient catalysts for important organic transformation reactions.
