Regioselective addition of bifunctional oximehydroxamic acid by the hydroxamic group to Pt(IV)-coordinated nitriles

The PtIV-mediated reaction between coordinated nitriles and oximehydroxamic acid leads to a highly regioselective addition of the hydroxamic moiety to the cyano group of the former.
