Carbon-hydrogen bond activation of phenyldi(2-thienyl)phosphine at a triosmium cluster centre

The reactivity of phenyldi(2-thienyl)phosphine (PPhTh2) with triosmium clusters to afford simple substitution and carbon-hydrogen bond activated products have been investigated.
