Porous CoII and NiII coordination polymers based on 5-(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol for various solvent inclusion

This work describes five new CoII and NiII porous metal-organic frameworks with the general formula of {[M(pyt)2(H2O)2] · (solvents)}n, being prepared under different reactive conditions. The 3-D crystalline lattices, resulting from a parallel stacking of the 2-D grid-like coordination networks, display regular 1-D open channels for a variety of solvent inclusion.
