Synthesis, crystal structures and characterization of three novel complexes with N-[2-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)ethyl]-4-methyl-benzene-sulfonamide as ligand

Three novel complexes [M(HL)2] · xH2O (M = Cu, x = 0 for 1, M = Ni, x = 0 for 2 and M = Zn, x = 1 for 3; H2L = N-[2-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)ethyl]-4-methyl-benzene-sulfonamide) have been prepared and characterized via X-ray single-crystal diffraction, elemental analysis, XRPD, FT-IR, UV-Vis, TGA and photoluminescence measurements.
