Stereochemically non-rigid helical mercury(II) complexes

A mononuclear double helical complex and a mononuclear single helical complex of Hg(II) have been synthesized with a tetradentate N-donor ligand which itself is helical. Variable temperature 1H NMR studies show that both the complexes are stereochemically non-rigid in solution.
