Various structures from 1D to trinuclear by anion-induced conversion

► We synthesize two novel 1D coordination polymers. ► Conversion from 1D to 0D triggered by ClO4− anion-induce have been achieved pytrz. ► ClO4− anions may act as the template during the re-assembly section. ► All the complexes exhibit strong blue fluorescence emission bands in the H2O solution at ambient temperature.
