Syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties of three Fe(II) complexes with reduced radical ligands

A series of iron(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized. These complexes show different and interesting structure and coordination modes. Complex 3 has a 1D chain structure, bridged by 4,4-bipy. Magnetic investigations reveal that complex 3 has weak antiferromagnetic interactions.
