Optical properties of a novel neodymium pentafluoropropionate binuclear complex

The single-crystal structure and optical properties of a novel neodymium pentafluoropropionate binuclear complex were studied. The complex showed good radiative properties in DMSO with a high stimulated emission cross-section as 2.36 × 10−20 cm2, which is comparable with some laser glasses.
