High- and multi-frequency EPR study of Mn12: A new technique for studying new objects

The interest and the progress of multifrequency and high-field EPR are illustrated with the studies performed along the years on Mn12 single-molecule magnets. The report stresses how the field has evolved to the understanding of the origin of magnetic anisotropy in these complex molecular systems.
