Synthesis and characterization of novel Cu(II)-bipyridine complexes having functional groups and their application toward molecular recognition

Cu(II) complexes having 2,2′-bipyridine derivatives with two functional groups at 6 and 6′ positions were synthesized and characterized. Those complexes were applied to molecular recognition for carboxylic acids.
