Crystal structure of six and seven coordinate manganese(II) complexes with penta and hexadentate pyridylmethyl ligands

The reaction of manganese(II) ion with linear pentadentate or hexadentate pyridylmethyl ligands in the presence of chloride or thiocyanate ions gives six- and seven-coordinate manganese(II) complexes.
