Synthesis, crystal structure, spectroscopic, thermal, catechol oxidase and catalase-like studies: New copper(II) complexes of 2-benzoylbenzoate and 2-pyridilpropanol ligands

► Synthesized and characterized Cu(II) compound with 2-benzoylbenzoic and 2-pyridinepropanol. ► Systematic investigation of the impact of changes in the metal salt on the structure of the complexes was carried out. ► Dinuclear complex shows good catecholase and catalase-like activity is compared with that of mononuclear complex.
