Three main group metal coordination polymers built by 2-propyl-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylate

► Three main group metal coordination polymers have been synthesized. ► 2-Propyl-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid reacts with metal ions under thermal condition. ► The polymers have structurally characterized by EA, IR and single crystal X-ray diffraction. ► The thermostabilities of the three polymers have been determined.
