Crystal structures of mixed oxonium-cadmium(II) salts with [SbF6]−/[Sb2F11]− anions: From complex chains to layers and three-dimensional frameworks

► CdO dissolves in aHF/SbF5 superacid yielding H3OCd(SbF6)(Sb2F11)2. ► Four [H3O]+ salts were isolated in [H3O]+/Cd2+/[SbF6]−/[Sb2F11]− system. ► Determined crystal structures consist from chains to layers and 3D frameworks.
