Assembly of silver(I) one- and two-dimensional coordination frameworks with 2-ethynyl-4,6-dimethylpyrimidine ligand

Two silver-organic frameworks, namely, [(AgL)(AgCF3CO2)4(H2O)2] (1) and [(AgL)(AgCF3CO2)3] (2) (HL = 2-ethynyl-4,6-dimethylpyrimidine), have been obtained. These structural differences indicate that molar ratio plays important role in defining the overall structures of metal-organic frameworks.
