Preparation, spectroscopy, and electrochemistry of cyano-bridged bis(oxo-centered-hexa(μ-acetato)-triruthenium) complexes

Cyano-bridged oxo-centered-hexa(μ-acetato)-triruthenium complexes have been synthesized and characterized. They showed multi-step redox processes. The infrared spectroelectrochemistry suggested that an enhancement of the electron delocalization may occur in the mixed-valence oxidation states.313
