► The sandwich complex [FeCp(η6-arene)][PF6] are used for multiple C-C bond formation. ► Organo-iron mediated arene activation in sandwich complex produces 1 → 3 connectivity. ► Benzylic arene activation in iron complex is utilized for dendrimer syntheses. ► Organoiron activation in sandwich complex is followed by iron complex recovery. ► Organoiron-mediated dendrimer synthesis is followed by functionalization.
