A novel layered organic polymer-inorganic hybrid zinc poly (styrene-phenylvinylphosphonate)-phosphate immobilized chiral salen Mn(III) catalyst large-scale asymmetric epoxidation of unfunctionalized olefins

► Novel layered support ZnPS-PVPA and heterogeneous catalysts have been synthesized. ► The catalysts exhibited great activities in asymmetric epoxidation of olefins. ► Moreover, no need to add any axial additive in the catalytic system. ► The catalysts could be recycled at least ten times without obvious loss. ► They could be efficiently used in large-scale asymmetric epoxidation reactions.
