Cyclopalladated complexes with 9-anthraldehyde aroylhydrazones: Synthesis, properties and structures

► Cyclopalladated complexes with 9-anthraldehyde aroylhydrazones (H2Ln) were prepared. ► The complexes [Pd(HLn)Cl] reacts with PPh3 and provide [Pd(Ln)PPh3]. ► X-ray structures and spectroscopic properties of both species were investigated.
