Palladium-catalyzed three-component cyclization: Synthesis of hydroisoindol-1-ones from 2-bromocyclohex-1-enecarbaldehydes, anilines and carbon monoxide

2-Bromocyclohex-1-enecarbaldehydes are carbonylatively cyclized with anilines under CO in the presence of a palladium catalyst to furnish hydroisoindol-1-ones.
