The carbosilane dendrimers with 12, 36, 108 and 324 diene groups on the periphery have been prepared. The first generation with 12 diene groups which react with enes such as N-ethylmaleimide, 1,4-naphtoquinone, and tetracyanoethene has produced the Diels–Alder products (DA) on the dendritic periphery. The NMR and MALDI-TOF mass spectra have characterized the DA products. The unified dendritic character has been observed by gel permeation chromatography.
