Olefin-aminocarbyne coupling in diiron complexes: Synthesis of new bridging aminoallylidene complexes

Activated olefins, in the presence of NaH and Me3NO, give regio- and stereospecific addition at the bridging aminocarbyne ligand, in diiron complexes, affording novel bridging aminoallylidene complexes. The reactivity of these complexes is also reported.
