Study of the reaction of tetramethyltin with Hβ zeolite

Tetramethyltin reacts quantitatively with surface hydroxyl groups of Hβ zeolite at temperature as low as 183 K. The reaction leads to the formation of a surface trimethyltin complex on the surface of zeolite without destroying the framework of zeolite.
