Asymmetric synthesis of a chiral arsinophosphine via a metal template promoted asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction between diphenylvinylphosphine and 2-furyldiphenylarsine

The metal-template promoted asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction between diphenylvinylphosphine and 2-furyldiphenylarsine successfully generates a single product isomer containing the oxanorbornene skeleton which consequently gives an optically active arsinophosphine upon liberation from the metal template.
