Kinetics and mechanism of reduction of a coordinated superoxide with hydroxylamine derivatives

Hydroxylamine-N-monosulfonate (HMS) reduces coordinated superoxide by a mechanism different from that by hydroxylamine-N,N′-disulfonate (HDS). R = HMS or HDS; k is an electroprotic rate step for HMS but a pure electron-transfer step for HDS.
