The low-frequency optical spectrum of AA-stacked graphite exhibits rich magneto-absorption peaks. It is dominated by intraband and interband optical excitations. The former induce a multi-channel threshold peak and several two-channel peaks, while a lot of the double-peak structures are associated with the latter. Such absorption peaks differ considerably from those in other graphites and few-layer graphenes. The many Landau subbands with strong energy dispersions, which are present across the chemical potential, are the main reason. Only the threshold peak is affected by temperature; however, it can survive within a wide temperature region. The intensity, frequency, and number of absorption peaks strongly depend on the magnetic field strength.
