Influence of laser treatment on thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of lithium intercalation process into nanosized SiO2

Amorphous nanosized SiO2 powder has been modified by laser treatment. The influence of this treatment on the structure and parameters of a process of Li+ electrochemical intercalation into cathodes based on SiO2 has been studied by means of an X-ray analysis, infrared spectroscopy, electro-motive force and impedance spectroscopy methods.
