On the steady-state creep of microcellular metals

A variational estimate for non-linear composite deformation is specialized to provide a simple estimate of uniaxial steady-state creep rates in microcellular metals deforming by power-law creep knowing their linear modulus. Resulting expressions compare well with previous theory and data.
