UV spectroscopy, refractive indices and elastic properties of the (76 − x) TeO2·9P2O5·15ZnO·xLiNbO3 glass

► Effects of LiNbO3 lead to a decrease in optical energy gap (Eopt). ► The refractive index (n0) increases with increasing LiNbO3 content. ► Elastic moduli increase with LiNbO3 content indicating that increase in connectivity of the investigated glasses.
