Photoconductivity of doped hexa-alkoxy triphenylene nano composite structures

► The nanocomposite of gold chloride doped lower alkyl chain hexalkoxytriphenylene (HATn) where n = 4 and 5 has been studied. ► The composite material has been characterized using POM, DSC, SAXS, UV-visible and PL spectroscopy. ► The photoconductivity enhancement of the nanocomposite has been demonstrated for the first time.
