Correlation of optical properties of acentric crystals with chemical composition

Quantitative relationship “chemical composition–structure–physical property” was reviewed for acentric crystals. Optical properties were estimated for a set of 45 predicted acentric crystals. All the quantitative relationships observed in the present paper are suitable for chemical composition with an unknown structure yet. Relationships are quite simple but universal for the prediction of optical properties for inorganic crystals of a wide chemical composition.
