Interaction study between Ti grade 12 titanium master alloy and SS-304 indicate formations of Fess(Ni, Cr, Ti), Ti2(Fe, Ni) and Tiss(Fe, Ni) at the interfaces following a non-linear overall reaction zone growth kinetics of the type x = 1.501 exp(−142.66/RT)t1/2.
