Microscopic evaluation of proliferative disorders in the gerbil female prostate: Evidence of aging and the influence of multiple pregnancies

► We examine at experimental level the proliferative disorders in the female prostate of gerbils under aging and alter multiple pregnancies conditions. ► The aging and pregnancy are inductors of female prostate proliferative disorders. ► This study reveals that steroid hormones imbalance during pregnancy are a possible factors that promote proliferative disorders in the female prostate gland in gerbil.
