Facile one-pot strategy to prepare Ag/Fe2O3 decorated reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite and its catalytic application in chemoselective reduction of nitroarenes

One pot in-situ synthesis of Ag/Fe2O3 anchored rGO assisted by urea and PEG 4000 is described. The novel nanohybrid material (Ag/Fe2O3-rGO) is used as highly efficient magnetically separable heterogeneous catalyst for chemoselective reduction of nitroarenes to corresponding amines.236
