Effect of pore lengths on the reduction degree and lithium storage performance of Mesoporous SiOx nanomaterials

The effect of pore lengths on the reduction degree and lithium storage performance of mesoporous SiO2 materials is systematically investigated using SBA-15 with tunable pore lengths for the first time. The O/Si atomic ratio decreases along with the reducing pore lengths. SiO0.73 nanorods are further modified by carbon nanolayers and present a remarkably improved performance.209
