Effect of Tb addition on the thermal stability, glass-forming ability and magnetic properties of Fe-B-Si-Nb bulk metallic glass

► BMGs with diameters up to 3.5 mm were fabricated in the FeTbBSiNb alloy system. ► Tb element enhances the formation of local CSRO in the supercooled liquid region. ► Crystallization behavior of the alloys is heavily dependent on the Tb content. ► The alloys with higher Tb content tend to precipitate the Tb2Fe14B phase.
