Investigation of AgAlCuZr amorphous/crystalline structure produced by casting and milling

► Advanced Ag8Al8Cu36Zr48 master alloys were produced by arc- and induction melting. ► The structure of the ingots were analyzed by SEM and XRD. ► Amorphous wedge-shape samples were produced by centrifugal casting. ► Amorphous/crystalline powders were synthesized by ball-milling with different milling times. ► Thermal properties of the samples were analyzed.
