Improvement of electrochemical properties of LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 by coating with V2O5 layer

► V2O5 layer was coated on layered LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 cathode material. ► Its rate and cycle capacities have been improved by surface coating. ► CV and EIS results were conducted to illustrate the effect of the V2O5 coating layer.
