Influence of pH on the structural optical and magnetic properties of Zn1−xMnxO thin films grown by sol-gel method

► pH dependent sol-gel derived polycrystalline Zn1−xMnxO films. ► The films with pH of 4.6 show blue shift whilst the films with pH of 7.5 show red shift. ► The films with pH of 4.6 have room temperature ferromagnetism whilst the films with pH of 7.5 have paramagnetism.
