Superhydrophobic and antireflecting behavior of densely packed and size controlled ZnO nanorods

► Tunable density and size controlled ZnO nanorods are successfully synthesized with change in precursor concentrations. ► ZnO nanorods exhibit super-hydrophobic performance with a low reflectance around 6.5%. ► Synthesize ZnO nanorod coatings have significant role in energy efficient solar coatings and self-cleaning smart windows.
